AASP Elects New Leadership

The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers (AASP) has elected its Executive Committee for 2019-2020. The election was held at AASP’s board of directors meeting on October 31, 2018, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Bill Adams, representing AASP affiliate New York State Association of Service Stations and Repair Shops, will serve as President. The following AASP board members will join Adams on the Executive Committee:

Tom Elder, Compact Kars, Clarksburg, NJ
Molly Brodeur, Al Brodeur’s Auto Body, Marlborough, MA
Bob Pulverenti, IGO-NC, Raleigh, NC
Bruce Tschida, Lake Marion Collision, Lakeville, MN

Adams currently serves as president of NYSASSRS. He stated, “I am honored to be elected the new president of AASP. I look forward to working with the board and their members to provide them with my 30+ years of business experience in the automotive repair industry. One of my main goals is to facilitate a dialog with our affiliates across the country to see what works and what doesn’t as to how their associations relate to individual members. Along with that, I would like to grow the membership from areas around the country that currently do not have representation. The more ideas that we can bring to the table, the more positive impact we can have to grow business.”

The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers is a coalition of associations which serve over 8,500 members of the automotive service industry. In a spirit of mutual cooperation and support, Alliance participants are committed to sharing information, knowledge and other resources for the benefit of the members they serve.
