The Automotive Service & Tire Alliance exists to support,
strengthen, and advance the independent automotive service and
tire industry.
ASTA was formed in 2021 through the merger of two organizations
with deep roots in the automotive aftermarket: the Independent
Garage Owners of North Carolina and the North Carolina Tire
Dealers Association.
Today, we bring together shop owners, technicians, service
advisors, educators, students, vendors, and industry partners
who believe our industry becomes stronger when we learn,
connect, advocate, and move forward together.

The Independent Garage Owners of North Carolina was
established, creating a voice and professional community
for independent automotive service businesses.

Founded
The North Carolina Tire Dealers Association was
established, supporting tire dealers and automotive
businesses through industry relationships, education,
and advocacy.

Is Formed
IGONC and NCTDA joined forces to create the Automotive
Service & Tire Alliance, combining decades of
experience into one stronger organization.
